Barista

Are you a barista, or keen to become one, who loves making great kawhe? Are you looking for mahi in a stunning location? Rourou Tāwara, the food truck run by Ngāti Kuia, is looking for a new team member to help us serve kai and kawhe in Te Hoiere at Te Wāhi Tōpuni o Te Hoiere (Pelorus Campground).

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident on a coffee machine, or keen to learn
• Comfortable in the kitchen (experience preferred but not essential)
• Reliable, friendly, and happy to work as part of a small team

The Details:

When: September/October through to March

Hours: Part-time, with full-time hours available in December and January

Weekends: Weekend availability is essential

Transport:

• Free weekday transport from Whakatū
• Weekend transport is self-arranged
• Basic accommodation available on weekends (limited time only)

Contract: Casual, fixed-term over summer with potential to continue beyond
