About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will guide and support a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to deliver high-quality, person-centred support in the home and community. Using the Active Support model, you’ll ensure clients are empowered to make choices, achieve their goals, and live with dignity and independence.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Leading and mentoring staff
• Coordinating support planning and service agreements
• Ensuring compliance with NDIS and legislative requirements
• Promoting client choice, independence, and community participation
• Managing client documentation, risk assessments, and health plans
• Supporting clients in their NDIS planning and goal setting

What We’re Looking For
Key Selection Criteria:
• Experience in disability or aged care
• Strong understanding of disability legislation and standards
• Proven staff management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, time management, and computer literacy
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and active support principles
• Respect for cultural and individual diversity
• Diploma in Community Services or equivalent (preferred)
You must have:
• Level Two First Aid
• Evidence of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
