Position Overview:
We are seeking a Studio Coordinator to join our dynamic design and creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating various studio activities, managing schedules, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day tasks. The Studio Co-ordinator provides administrative support to the local studio and general assistance to the business as a whole.
The person in this role requires exceptional communication skills, patience and discretion as it interacts with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. The studio co-ordinator is proactive and highly organised, presentable, and possesses a polite, approachable, helpful, energetic, friendly, outgoing and personable manner.
Responsibilities:
- Phones, studio queries, receiving visitors & deliveries
- Coordinate studio activities and schedules including maintenance and repairs
- Coordinate events, meetings, catering
- Assist with project planning and execution
- Assist with new starter onboarding including IT equipment set up
- Manage studio supplies, inventory and orders
- Liaise with clients and consultants as needed
- Provide administrative support to the studio and the practice more broadly, as required
Skills:
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of project management software including Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Administration, Business or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years previous experience in a similar role – in a design related business an advantage
- Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
