TITLE: Talent Engagement Coordinator

LOCATION: Perth, Australia

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Recruitment

REPORTS TO: Business Manager – Mining

Primary Purpose

As the Talent Engagement Coordinator, you are responsible for the day to day activities associated with the onboarding of new hires and getting them ready for their first day. You will also look at efficiencies in how you can improve the process of getting new hires to site faster.

Core Accountabilities

Responsible for the professional and timely delivery of mobilisation, administration and compliance of our client locations within metropolitan and regional WA. Ultimately, you will help keep our onboarding process smooth and ensure the experience we create is of a high quality.

• Prepare job offer letter

• Continuous Improvement: Find bottlenecks in the onboarding process and make suggestions to improve speed and quality of the candidate’s experience

• Manage and maintain the Recruitment, Medical and PPE Tracker

• Adopt the Business Partner Model of quality, trust and accountability

• Daily communication to Client Services/ Client Development team on onboarding progress

• Daily communication to onboarding Brunellers

• Organise candidates’ documents (e.g. resumes, assignments and contact details) in internal databases

• Manage all aspects of mobilisation and compliance, site access, training verification, flights and accommodation

• Prepare all employment contract documents and ensure paperwork is completed accurately

• Liaise and maintain relationships with all service providers that form part of the onboarding ecosystem

• Maintain and build close relationships with candidates and client contacts

• Assist in the identification of strategies to improve overall efficiencies of the team

Experience

• Minimum 2 years work experience as a Talent Engagement Coordinator

• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases

• Basic knowledge of labour legislation

• Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular)

• Excellent organisational skills

• Excellent attention to detail
