We’re seeking a skilled Project Planner / Scheduler to join our dynamic team, working on complex, large-scale energy infrastructure projects. Based in Brisbane or Sydney, you’ll play a key role in delivering successful outcomes across a diverse portfolio and advancing Australia’s energy transition.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Manager, you’ll lead planning across multiple projects—developing integrated schedules, managing risks, and providing strategic insights to keep projects safe, on time, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver end-to-end planning, control, and monitoring across all project phases
• Develop integrated multi-disciplinary schedules using Primavera P6
• Track performance, analyse progress, and report using EVM and risk tools
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and licensors to ensure schedule accuracy
• Support cost tracking, forecasting, and risk assessment alongside Project Services
• Contribute to handover and commissioning planning
• Monitor contractor deliverables and recommend corrective actions
What You’ll Bring
• Degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
• 5+ years’ experience in complex project scheduling (infrastructure/energy preferred)
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project; strong planning and EVM skills
• Solid understanding of contract interfaces, schedule risk, and large-scale delivery
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder engagement
• PMI-SP, AACE PSP, or equivalent certification is a plus
