We’re looking for a skilled and creative Mixologist to join our team and help elevate our overall guest experience.
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join our team during the pre-opening phase of a new hotel, that will look to be the changing face of the Central Coast.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
• Craft classic cocktails and signature drinks with consistency and flair
• Engage guests with knowledge, charm, and a passion for mixology
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in spirits, garnishes, and presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
• Train all team members to ensure consistency on guest service delivery
• Collaborate with team on seasonal menus and specials
• Communicate with team any relevant feedback and changes
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
• Deliver beverage service with finesse and precision, choreographed to meet the highest departmental standards—where every pour, placement, and gesture reflects the artistry of elevated guest experience.
• Develop departmental (beverage) standards and procedures to promote salesmanship, beverage creativity and profit
• Delivers prepared training sessions in line with a departmental monthly calendar.
• Making and presenting cocktails
• Coffee and tea is served hot and in accordance with standard
• Patron care standards are adhered to by ensuring:
• Cellar operations are carried out regularly to ensure quality, safety and stock control
• Design promotional material which is aimed at increasing revenue, covers and profit for the Bar with the approval of the Food and Beverage Manager
• Works with Superior in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget
What we need from you
• Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume setting
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and bar equipment
• Creativity in crafting new drink recipes and presentations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Certification in responsible alcohol service
• Must speak local language (s)
