About the Role
Silentium Defence is an Australian leader in passive radar technology, supporting defence, space, and critical infrastructure sectors. We are looking for an experienced Lead Field Service Representative (LFSR) to join our team and play a key role in the successful deployment and support of cutting-edge sensing systems.
As our LFSR, you’ll combine technical know-how with leadership, customer engagement, and operational coordination. You’ll work across Australia and internationally to support field deployments, customer demonstrations, and trials—while mentoring our Field Service Representatives and enhancing customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor Field Service Representatives, developing team capability and resilience.
- Develop structured training for internal teams and customers.
- Act as the senior technical contact for key customers and field operations.
- Lead the setup, deployment, and troubleshooting of radar systems.
- Coordinate resources, logistics, and schedules for field trials and demos.
- Represent Silentium Defence at trade shows and industry events.
- Capture field feedback and support continuous product improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in a field service or systems support role.
- Leadership or mentoring experience.
- Experience working in Defence or a Defence Industry setting.
- Strong technical capability and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
You Must Have
- Australian citizenship.
- Eligibility for NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.
- Valid Australian passport and driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Desirable
- Qualifications in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience developing and delivering technical training or instruction.

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
