Are you passionate about social justice, workers’ rights, and building collective power? The Australian Services Union – Victorian and Tasmanian Authorities & Services Branch is seeking a committed and dynamic Organiser (x2) to join our team and help empower workers across local government, water, energy, and social and community services.
Please note that these roles currently sit in our social and community services and infrastructure division, however there may be a requirement for the Branch to move organisers across patches/industries within our coverage.

As an Organiser, you will:
- Empower members and delegates to build strong workplace networks and lead collective action
- Drive recruitment and organising campaigns to grow union strength.
- Negotiate and advocate for improved employment conditions and job security.
- Represent members in industrial matters, including disputes and enterprise bargaining.
- Deliver training and support to build leadership capacity among members.
- Contribute to policy development and strategic campaigns that shape the future of work.
We’re seeking someone with:
- A deep commitment to the union movement and social justice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in organising, campaigning, or industrial relations (or a strong desire to learn).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A current driver’s license and willingness to travel across Victoria.
