About the role

We are seeking a highly organised proactive and solutions-focused Coordinator to join our passionate team. This newly established role, will play a central role in ensuring our national network of Gidget Houses are well-maintained, compliant and fit-for-purpose for both clinicians and clients. Additionally, this role works closely with the Gidget House Manager, to support the national expansion of Gidget Houses, by establishing and delivering new sites across its growing network. This includes overseeing the fit-outs, liaising with co-location partners, tradespeople and contractors and coordinating all elements required to bring each site to life.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations and logistics across all Gidget House sites.

• Track, triage, and respond to maintenance and housekeeping requests.

• Liaise with contractors, trades, and location partners to resolve facility issues promptly.

• Manage stock levels and coordinate orders for site essentials.

• Support rollout and tracking of maintenance request systems in alignment with WHS requirements.

• Troubleshoot basic technology issues (e.g., printers, internet) and arrange repairs as required

• Act as a point of contact for site partners, security, and cleaning services.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, WHS compliance, and vendor communications.

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver the upgrade of existing Gidget Houses as well as establishment of new Gidget Houses nationally, co-located with partner organisations.

• Oversee all aspects of new site fit-outs, including liaising with tradespeople, managing contractors, and ensuring works are completed to agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines.

• Ensure new sites meet all compliance, WHS, and operational readiness requirements prior to opening.

• Provide support to the Gidget House Manager with a range of administrative and operational tasks relating to Gidget Houses as required.

Selection Criteria

Our ideal candidate will have:

Essential

• Demonstrated experience in administration, operations, project coordination, and/or facilities/property management support.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of initiative, problem solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

• Confident using Microsoft Office and online systems to track, manage and report on tasks

• Current driver’s license and access to a car (some travel to sites required).

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience in healthcare, NFP, or community-based environments.

• Knowledge of facilities management and/or WHS protocols.

• Experience in coordinating site establishments, relocations, or large-scale fit-out projects.

• Ability to travel frequently.

Terms of Employment

This position is full-time and will initially be contracted till June 2026, aligned to Grant Funding, with the possibility of extension. This position is based at our head office in North Sydney, with the opportunity to work flexibly, subject to organisational needs.
