We’re looking for a hands-on National WHS Manager to lead the safety agenda across a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment — with some exposure to warehousing, and distribution centres,

This role is about more than compliance — it’s about driving real change, lifting capability, and embedding safety into the way people lead, work, and make decisions every day.

100% office-based, with limited travel required — ideal for someone who thrives on making a big impact remotely through strong leadership, communication, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a national WHS strategy aligned with business goals
  • Partner with operational leaders to drive safety ownership across all levels
  • Lead risk management programs, incident investigations, and compliance reviews
  • Maintain and update WHS systems, policies, and documentation
  • Deliver training and capability uplift initiatives across all departments
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, regulatory compliance, and audit outcomes
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and represent the business as required
  • What You’ll Bring

  • 8–10 years of WHS leadership experience across complex, multi-site organisations
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk frameworks
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior operational leaders
  • Experience working in environments such as retail, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS, Risk, or Occupational Health (ICAM certification advantageous)
  • Data literacy and experience using safety reporting tools and system.
