About the Role

As the Events and Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving engagement, coordination, and delivery of programs and events across our innovation community. Reporting to the Programs, Community & Delivery Manager, you’ll take the lead in ensuring seamless experiences for our members, partners, and stakeholders. This role is a perfect fit for a proactive, highly organised professional who is passionate about startups, community building, and emerging technology.

This role is fixed term for 12 months with the opportunity to become permanent in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community & Program Engagement – Lead the coordination and delivery of in-person and virtual programs and events across The Labs network.
  • Event & Membership Operations – Ensure smooth execution of events, manage logistics, support digital content updates, and track engagement metrics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Act as the key liaison between members, mentors, partners, and industry leaders to drive meaningful connections.
  • Customer Service & Member Support – Handle member inquiries, onboard new members, and enhance community engagement initiatives.
  • Process Improvement – Continuously refine operational and administrative processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

About you

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or event management.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with marketing tools, digital platforms, and social media.
  • Passion for the startup ecosystem, innovation, and technology
