Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be working in a team of Engineers and Inspectors on delivering civil asset renewal and maintenance projects in primarily the rail sector. This role will be a mix of office and field based workloads managing contractors, ensuring quality compliance and project management.

Key Responsibilities
- Performs entry level engineering analysis, design, planning, review, and inspection for small projects and/or designated segments of larger complex projects.
- Prepares and details sketches and engineering documentation using AutoCAD software and other engineering tools.
- Applies professional engineering concepts, principles, practices and methods to perform a broad range of engineering activities.
- As site engineer for minor works/standard infrastructure, reads and interprets construction drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate engineering records are maintained and construction is delivered according to design.
- Identifies and escalates engineering issues for resolution where they arise.
- Develops Inspection and Test Plans for simple construction situations.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Current drivers licence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
