What is a Brand and Content Lead?

As the Brand and Content Lead, you’ll have a deep commitment to inclusive storytelling and community engagement, amplifying the voices of people with lived experience and promotes the role Bridge Housing and HomeGround Real Estate plays in creating safe, stable, and affordable homes. The impact of this role lies in building connection, visibility, and trust with our customers, staff and stakeholders – bringing to life the human stories behind our work and strengthening support for housing justice.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Content creation and storytelling – Capture, develop, write, and edit high-quality content for newsletters, website, social media, and print materials.
  • Digital and social media channels – Manage and grow Bridge Housing’s social media presence across platforms, ensuring accuracy while keeping content engaging
  • Events and increasing engagement – Support the promotion of Bridge events, launches, and campaigns
  • Internal and corporate communications – Promote achievements and impact across internal and external audiences while ensuring brand consistency and message alignment
  • Branding and design – Uphold brand standards in all communications and design, ensuring collateral and signage align with Bridge Housing’s values and accessibility.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who…

  • has tertiary qualifications or a substantial background in marketing, communications and/ or content creation roles.
  • has strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • has experience in managing social media channels and website content.
  • has an ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with a diverse audience, including tenants with lived experience of housing need.
  • has a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with a range of stakeholders.
  • has an understanding of brand consistency and visual identity principles.
  • is familiar with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and website CMS (e.g. WordPress; Sharepoint; AI Tools and other platforms).
  • has a genuine commitment to social justice and the values of Bridge.

We believe in pay transparency.

This role is graded as a Level 6 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award. Bridge Housing currently offers above-award remuneration, plus NFP salary packaging, PLUS superannuation!

This role is paid at a base salary of $121,447- $126,818.87, plus salary packaging and superannuation. In real terms, this means $143,503 – $149,519.49

per annum.
