Consultant (Project/Test Manager)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project/Test Manager (Consultant) in the Payroll/WFM space to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Project and Test Management within Payroll/WFM implementations to clients across all industries, ensuring the projects are delivered on-time, within budget and with exceptional quality.

We’re looking for a person who is pragmatic, who knows how to get the systems delivered with minimum fuss and keeping all stakeholders happy. The experience we are particularly targeting for future growth is Dayforce, Workday, iChris, ADP and UKG.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project and Test Management for Payroll and Workforce systems, Consulting skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of delivering results. Whilst this is a remote role, there will be a requirement at certain times where you may need to travel to client site around Australia or to the head office in Brisbane.

Responsibilities:

  • Project and Test Manage client system implementations while being supported by a team who are driven to deliver results for our clients
  • Undertake Delivery-related tasks and provide appropriate Consultant-level maturity in Delivery team engagements
  • Utilise your experience and skills to help our clients and our team to achieve the client’s and company mission and goals
  • Execute and contribute to innovative and effective approaches to deliver on scope, time, budget and quality for new and existing client engagements
  • Participate in business development activities with the Sales/Client Engagement team and maintain contact with client organisations, as required
  • Provide client feedback to Client Engagement Director
  • Generate written or present oral reports internally and externally, as required
  • Travel to customer sites or company office, as required
  • Other tasks as directed

Qualifications:

  • Strong Project and Test Management skills
  • Proven experience as a business consultant or similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software
