We would love to talk to you as we’re looking for an experienced archaeologist to join our Cultural Heritage team to lead a range of truly diverse projects and helping shape and mentor our early career specialists.

Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM:
- You’ll join an amazing team of experienced heritage professionals who’ll provide mentorship and interesting opportunities to help you grow your experience through working on a diverse range of projects
- You’ll showcase your project management experience by leading or supporting a diverse range of cultural heritage projects which will include large scale energy, renewables transmission projects from pre-design concept inputs, assessments, approvals, post-approval mitigations and remediation
- You’ll prepare archaeological assessments, research designs, author field reports and be part of team that collaborates on outside of the box thinking
- You’ll play a key role in providing leadership and mentorship to develop our bright and ambitious early career Archaeologists
- You will be surrounded by a supportive team and have the autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your life
- With offices across Australia, you will be able to flex and enjoy hybrid working at its best
Here’s what you will bring to have impact:
- A relevant tertiary degree in anthropology, archaeology, history, or heritage studies
- A minimum of 5-10 years archaeological consulting experience in Aboriginal heritage management; including field investigations, impact assessment and statutory approvals (cultural heritage management plans, Aboriginal heritage impact permits)
- A passion for mentoring early career archaeologists and growing successful teams
- Exceptional reporting and quality assurance skills, underpinned by deep knowledge of state, territory, and Commonwealth legislation
- A current valid unrestricted drivers’ license and Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card)
