We’re looking for a compassionate, culturally aware Welfare and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our seasonal and permanent Pacific and TImor Leste workers. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while working in a fast-paced, meaningful environment.

In this hands-on and people-focused position, you’ll be the vital link between the business and our seasonal and permanent Pacific workforce. From welcoming new arrivals to coordinating wellbeing initiatives, your work will help build a safe, respectful and inclusive environment where people feel supported to thrive.

What you’ll be doing

Building trust and strong relationships with PALM workers and be a culturally aware liasion between the workforce and management
Coordinating wellbeing activities like health education, financial literacy and connections with community groups
Supporting onboarding, housing, and community integration for new arrivals
Offering one-on-one support around mental health, personal issues, and workplace challenges
Connecting and supporting workers with access to external services (health, counselling, financial support, etc.)
Conducting regular visits and checks of accommodation facilities
Working closely with People and Culture, Bulmer Farms team leaders, and supervisors to proactively address welfare concerns

What You’ll Bring

Empathy, great communication, and a natural ability to connect with people
Experience in welfare support, community work, or pastoral care (advantageous but not mandatory)
Understanding of Pacific cultures and migration programs (like the PALM scheme)
Resilience and calm when responding to sensitive or complex situations
Basic knowledge of workplace health, safety and wellbeing (or willingness to learn)
Good organisational and record-keeping skills
A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites (between Bairnsdale and Lindenow)
