Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team at The Talk Shop. As a Registered Psychologist (with or without Endorsements), you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality therapy and counselling services to clients while enjoying the support of an established private practice with an excellent reputation. Our goal is to make quality counselling and psychology accessible to everyone by handling administrative tasks, providing client referrals, and offering ongoing support.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
2. Assess client needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
3. Maintain accurate records of client progress including session notes and treatment outcomes.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary for comprehensive client care.
5. Stay updated on industry developments and participate in continuing professional development (CPD) activities regularly.
Qualifications:
1. Full unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Registered Psychologist or Registered Clinical Psychologist.
2. Up-to-date CPD demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
2. Strong empathy and active listening abilities when working with diverse clientele.
3. Proficient in administering psychological assessments for diagnosis purposes.
4. Ability to create rapport quickly with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
5 .Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
