Our Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding PSC Software products and PSC Biotech® business opportunities. As a Business Development Manager your responsible for day-to-day activities related to business development, sales, and PSC Biotech® client support in Australia and APAC, you will play a critical role in the future expansion of PSC Biotech into new markets and the long-term success of the Software and Professional services divisions. This role is an outstanding opportunity to learn and grow as a salesperson in the competitive and technical life science industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with marketing to build creative and informative materials to send to prospects and clients.
- Work with the Management Team to incorporate target companies into your outreach cadence.
- Develop new and lead software sales strategy for ANZ and APAC.
- Providing client support on PSC Software products and PSC Biotech®, collaborating with cross-functional departments as required i.e. Software Division and Pro Serve Division.
- Document sales activities in CRM
- Assesses industry business trends to capitalise on emerging opportunities for business growth.
- Establishes effective relationships with clients to grow an effective business team to expand PSC Software product and PSC Biotech® presence and business growth.
- Represent PSC Software products and PSC Biotech® at business development activities (conferences, seminars, training) in ANZ and APAC.
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, and secure new business opportunities for PSC Software products and PSC Biotech®.
- Conduct formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts.
- Ensure proposals meet minimum standards for profitability and work with Senior Management to develop sustainable pricing for ANZ and APAC.
- Follow up on submitted information (i.e., events, inquiries, RFPs, proposals, etc.) as appropriate.
- Travel as needed.
- Complete other activities deemed necessary by management to achieve department goals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related experience
- 3 plus years of relevant experience with sales, business development, and client relationship management

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in MS Office and analysis software desired
- Proven ability to generate a high volume/high-quality sales pipeline.

This role will be a Hybrid working model, working 2/3 days from out office based in Clayton.
