Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial matters
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax filings
