Summary:

You will provide strategic leadership and direction to support the development and implementation of major programs and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include leading complex projects, conducting thorough research and analysis, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that strategies and projects are evidence-based and aligned with organisational objectives. You will also mentor junior staff, contribute to strategic planning processes, and represent the organisation in high-level meetings and forums.

This role requires a high level of discipline and knowledge of government policies and procedures. You will develop policies, provide financial, subject matter, or administrative advice, and manage high-level projects. You will be independently responsible for delivering major programs, managing large work groups under broad direction from a senior member. This role demands original thinking, creativity, and significant levels of independent judgment. Additionally, you will prepare detailed reports, briefings, and submissions for senior executives and key decision-makers, ensuring that all activities adhere to the highest standards of governance and accountability.
