Description

The Product Integration Specialist serves as a critical link between the sales and operations teams within Multotec, a leading manufacturer of innovative screen media for mining and aggregate screening. This role is responsible for ensuring product standards are maintained, managing product data, configuring similar products and technologies, and delivering innovative solutions to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset to support seamless collaboration between departments and drive operational excellence. This position is ideal for an industrial designer or engineer, including graduates eager to learn and grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Standards Oversight: Ensure all wear media products meet established quality and performance standards, collaborating with operations to maintain consistency and reliability in manufacturing processes.

Product Data Management: Maintain and update accurate product data, specifications, and documentation in internal systems, ensuring sales and operations teams have access to reliable information.

Product Configuration: Configure and adapt similar products and technologies to meet specific customer requirements, working closely with sales to provide tailored solutions.

Proposal Design: Utilize basic CAD software to create proposal designs and visualizations for customer solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with sales objectives.

Innovative Solutions: Respond to customer queries by developing creative and practical solutions, leveraging knowledge of wear media applications in mining and aggregate screening industries.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between sales and operations, facilitating communication to ensure customer expectations align with production capabilities and timelines.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline product-related workflows, enhance data accuracy, and improve response times to customer inquiries.

Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to the sales team during customer interactions and assist operations in resolving product-related challenges.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in industrial design, engineering (mechanical, industrial, or related), or a related field (or equivalent experience). Open to recent graduates with a strong academic foundation.
  • Ability to use basic CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for proposal design and product visualization.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in mining or aggregate screening industries (experience preferred but not required for motivated graduates).
  • Strong understanding of product standards, data management systems, and configuration processes (or willingness to learn).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in [specific software/tools, e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms] is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
