PROJECT MANAGER – CIVIL
Mack Civil has built a strong reputation of delivering a diverse range of civil engineering and construction projects for local and state government and leading private sector construction firms. After some exciting new project wins, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Project Manager who can manage civil construction projects and has good understanding of public domain upgrades, cycleways, drainage and stormwater, road construction/resurfacing, traffic signals, street lighting, electrical and landscaping works.

Role: Full-time

The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage major projects throughout local and state government areas from project award to handover.Coordinate and liaise with on-site employees and stakeholders for various projects.Assess construction materials and costs by analysing and interpreting drawings and specifications.Determine project costs by calculating labour, material, and related costsDevelop and manage Safe Working documentation (SWMS, ITP, Site plans, etc)Train and mentor engineers within the delivery teamMange quality assurance to ensure that works are delivered to Council and TfNSW specifications.Plan and schedule daily activities and coordinate the supply of labour and materialsCoordinate with client representatives to meet client’s needs and approvalsDeveloping and planning detailed construction methods, program and procedures and optimise designs where possible.Flexibility in hours of work
We are looking for a candidate with the following key attributes:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and/or Project Management highly preferred You must have cost management and delivery experience and clear leadership traits.Strong verbal and written communication skillsTake ownership and pride of their worksExcellent time management & attention to detailQuality and process orientated.A good understanding of WH&S Ability to develop & maintain systems and procedures to each projectExperience working on council and TfNSW projects. Civil infrastructure, streetscaping and / or utilities experience is essentialDrivers Licence and Whitecard
