Sanitation Cleaner – Northern Suburbs SA

About the role

We have 2 x Sanitation Cleaner positions available at Edinburgh Park. Shifts are on a rotational 7-day roster between:

Monday to Friday 11:00pm – 5:00am

Saturdays 3:00pm – 9:00pm or 5:00pm – 10:00pm (depending on department assigned)

Shifts will be rostered 5-days within the above range of days

The main purpose of the positions is to conduct the cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, machinery, and work areas in a FMCG facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate the system to clean and sanitise production equipment, tanks and pipelines.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitise and reassemble all equipment as needed.
• Carry out all sanitation practices according to company policies and applicable health regulations and laws.
• Adhere to Lustra’s and our client’s Food Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.
• Manual Handling of Dangerous Goods
• Reporting of Non-Conformance and Work Health Safety incidents

Requirements

• Available to work night shift Monday to Friday and afternoon shift on weekends with minimal overtime on the spot if required.
• Available to work weekends or a rotational roster over 7 days.
• Previous cleaning experience within the food environment (preferred but *not essential*)
• Must be physically fit.
• No VISA working restrictions.
• Comfortable with handling raw poultry
• Chemical Awareness or the willingness to learn.
• Willing to work with hazardous chemicals; PPE and training provided.
• Be prepared to undergo medical screening.
• Successful candidates must agree to a Police Clearance Check prior to commencement of role.
