As a Night Auditor, you are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest Experience, whilst displaying professional leadership skills to your colleagues and co-workers. The Duty Manager is required to assist the Front Office Manager to efficiently manage the Front Office operations of the hotel.

• Secure but readily access to Emergency, Master, Grand Master and Fire Keys for Guest Room locks at all times.

• Ensure all Guest Services staff is following security procedures for cash handling, guest confidentiality, stock control, lost & found property and pilferages.

• The accurate recording and breakdown of Room Tariffs / Packages on the PMS for all guests.

• Verify Mode of Payment and necessary settlement details (Credit Card, Charge Back Authorisations, Cash

• Deposits etc.) are accurately substantiated and recorded on the PMS. Follow up with guests or sales team as

• required to complete the same for every arrival.

• Verify Routing Instructions on the PMS are according to the specific billing instructions for all guests

• Monitor and drive upselling programs, with appropriate recommendations to the Front Office Manger

• Monitor laid down checks and balances to ensure compliance of ethical work practices

• Based on the approved monthly forecast, monitor all direct expense heads and appraise the Front Office

• Manager on variances.

• Authorise and control all requests for special amenities for Guest Rooms – wine, chocolates, flower, fruit and

• give away’ s.

• Track Mini Bar denials and authorise late charges as required.

• Conduct periodic stock take of all supplies & consumable and identify reasons for variances.

• Ensure the proper use of all supplies and equipment to minimise down time and repairs, which would

• hamper the smooth functioning of the operation
