Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding and fabrication on marine vessels and structures.
• Specialise in SMAW/Stick, GMAW/MIG, FCAW and GTAW/TIG welding on carbon steel materials.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tools.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of welding/fabrication experience.
• Qualified boilermaker with a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent (Desirable).
• Proficient in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
