At GNB Energy, we have a solid reputation for our specialised work on Energy Queensland Electrical Infrastructure. As Energex and Ergon accredited service providers, our overhead team predominantly work on the maintenance and installation of Energy Queensland assets. We are fortunate enough to offer our Electrical workers a diverse range of work opportunities in all areas of electrical infrastructure; this opportunity for job rotation increases engagement and reduces the possibility of stagnant work positions.
We are looking for an Electrical Linesperson to join our tight-knit overhead team. The successful candidate will need to have proven experience working on the Energy Queensland network as well as the knowledge to work independently offering guidance to apprentices and electrical workers on site.
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- QLD Electrical Licence (Linesperson Distribution)
- Current CPR/LV
- Experience working on Energex and Ergon network
- Sound Knowledge of the Energex and Ergon distribution network
- Must be a safety leader and willing to commit to quality and safety procedures and work instructions
- Experience working independently
- Experience working alongside apprentices and trainees
Desirable but not mandatory:
- Open HR Licence
- High-Risk Licence – WP/DG/C2/C6
- Working at heights
