Summary
Based at our site in Blackwater, QLD, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the Sales & Operations function within the Blackwater region. This will include planning, developing and managing sales & operations activities, promoting new products, achieving sales budgets, and forecasting inventory requirements.
The role must lead and manage the sales & operations team within the region to ensure opportunities and activities are maximised to provide a positive outcome for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all branch functions accountability – revenue forecast, budgeting, account management, customer relations & new business development
- Ensure adequate stock control systems are in place to provide minimal discrepancies and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely on cross training to ensure a succession plan is achieved (self-managed work team)
- Promote the sale of all Manuli Ryco products and services through direct representation or in a support role for Distribution, OEM’s, Contracts and major direct supply accounts
- Provide clear direction and objectives for the Blackwater operations & sales staff
- Review and recommend pricing and determine discount structures to maximise gross profit for the company and the achievement of the stated target accounts in accordance with Fluiconnecto Ryco protocols
- Preparation of the yearly sales budget for the region
- Co-ordinate customer visits with sales & operational staff, including major customers, ensuring their awareness of new products, marketing strategies and developments
About You
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets through influencing, communication, and relationship skills
- Demonstrated application of sales techniques and frameworks
- Ability to manage and lead a high performance and outcomes orientated team of sales and operations staff
- Hydraulics background
