Summary:

The Customer Service Trainer in the Education and Training industry is responsible for developing and delivering customized training plans to improve customer service skills within an organization. They assess customer service needs, create training materials, conduct training sessions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized training plans to meet the customer service needs of an organization
  • Create and develop training materials, such as syllabus, handouts, presentations, case studies, and exercises
  • Deliver training programs through classroom instruction, online training, workshops, and other events
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer service training programs and conduct needs assessments
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions and ensure all resources are available
  • Provide feedback and guidance to trainees throughout the training process
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and make necessary adjustments
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to identify trends and implement new strategies
  • Conduct follow-up training sessions to monitor progress and ensure success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in delivering customer service training and instruction
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and psychological testing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Highly adaptable and able to perform under pressure
