About the role:
Owing to growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with expertise in Family Law to join our friendly and innovative Private Clients group.
While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office, at Bartier Perry, there is an opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.

About the team:
Our firm has one of the most highly regarded Private Client practices in Sydney, with an enviable list of clients who seek assistance with legal matters involving family law, estate planning, business succession, deceased estates, disputed and litigious estates, taxation, superannuation, and investment structuring.
Sitting within the Private Clients group, our Family Law team is led by a highly esteemed Partner, who is an Accredited Specialist in the field. As a senior member of the team, you will be exposed to all facets of Family Law, assisting clients with complex property and parenting matters.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 5+ years’ post-admission experience in Family Law gained within a well-regarded practice.
- Excellent knowledge of the Family Law Act and Federal Circuit & Family Court (Family Law) Rules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong research, analytical and drafting skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and efficiently manage workflow.
