Hours: minimum of 12 hours a week

Shifts: 3.30pm – 7pm Monday to Friday, 7am -12pm weekend

About the Role

As a Trainee Swim Teacher, you’ll learn directly from experienced instructors while developing the core skills of water safety and swim education. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, positive and engaging environment for swimmers of all ages.

You will:

• Assist instructors during lessons across various age groups

• Learn and model key swim techniques

• Help supervise swimmers and ensure safety around the pool

• Contribute to keeping the pool area clean and well-organised

We’re Looking for People Who:

• Are confident swimmers (competitive or casual background welcome)

• Communicate well and enjoy connecting with others

• Love working with children and making a positive impact

• Are friendly, dependable, and ready to learn

What You’ll Need:

• Commitment to regular volunteer hours (up to 10 hrs/week, including a weekend shift)

• Willingness to complete your CPR and Working with Children Check (we’ll help!)

• Availability to gain your swim teaching qualification during the training period (we’ll support you through this too)
