My experience spans more than 30 years, including high-risk industries such as railway operations, waste collection and processing, and army trades training. I have also undertaken interim roles, including within the social housing sector.

I was part of the first group of IOSH members to become chartered in November 2005. I have developed my skills and in 2015 became a chartered member of the CMI. I am also a member of the IoD. These charterships and memberships provide me with amazing resources that help benefit my clients.

I have a 16-year track record of improving management systems to gain and maintain UKAS accreditation to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. I have also assisted companies in gaining these ISOs, but not to UKAS standards, as I believe that even if the accreditation is not at UKAS standards, having it externally verified demonstrates that these companies have the right policies, processes and procedures in place, and therefore the building blocks for achieving UKAS accreditation are in place.

HR has big impact on the ISOs and I have developed my skills and knowledge to enable HR and ISOs to mutually support each other which helps break down any silos that may have formed.
