Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail orientated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the Waterline team. In this role, you’ll support our mission of delivering safe and sustainable resources to the world by providing practical and technically sound solutions across the full asset lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic engineering consultancy, with exposure to real-world operations, site work, and strategic business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and delivering electrical engineering solutions aligned with Waterline and client standards
  • Support project activities including scope development, cost estimation, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination
  • Conduct site visits to perform audits, commissioning, and provide operational support (including FIFO rosters)
  • Apply engineering software and analysis techniques to solve client problems under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools, standards, and design aids
  • Participate in cross-functional team rotations to build technical and business capability
  • Accurately track time, progress, and goals using company systems and assist in project closeout reporting

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineerin
  • At least 1 year of on-site experience
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and adapt to 24/7 operational environments
  • Familiarity with engineering design software (e.g., SKM PTW, PowerCAD, AutoCAD) is an advantage
  • Enthusiasm for learning, collaboration, and delivering value-driven projects
