About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AOD Program Manager to lead our specialist Alcohol and Other
Drugs program in Victoria.
This senior leadership role is responsible for the clinical and operational oversight of AOD services supporting LGBTIQ+ communities and people living with or affected by HIV. Reporting to the Manager, Therapeutic Services, you will lead senior staff, strengthen service delivery, and contribute to strategic partnerships across the sector.
The ideal candidate will:
- Lead high-quality AOD service delivery using harm reduction and trauma-informed approaches.
- Supervise senior staff and outreach programs.
- Support service development, quality improvement and program reporting.
- Strengthen partnerships across the AOD and community services sectors.
- Contribute to workforce leadership, performance and program growth.

About you
You will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline, as well as:
- Certificate IV in AOD (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
- Extensive leadership experience in AOD or therapeutic services.
- Strong clinical capability across trauma-informed practice, motivational interviewing,
harm minimisation and related therapeutic modalities.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to affirming practice with LGBTIQ+ communities and people living
with HIV.
