About the role
Our design and drafting personnel are crucial to our new home delivery experience! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team. Responsible for producing and amending housing documentation to deliver plans that meet our client and customer expectations. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Create technical drawings and plans using drafting software.
- Accurately draft, amend, review and check plans within agreed timeframes.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
- Research building material and detailing solutions.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Prioritise and schedule work to ensure deadlines are met.
About you
You are an experienced, motivated Draftsperson with an eye for detail and a collaborative approach. Experience is necessary to hit the ground running in this role! The right candidate for this position will have:
- 3-5 years’ drafting experience within the residential housing and construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Significant knowledge of the Building Code of Australia along with other relevant Australian building standards and planning codes.
- Proven ability to provide high quality architectural working drawings within KPI defined timeframes.
- Proven ability to successfully manage time and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- High proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit or AutoCAD software platforms.
