Real Community Services is a fast-growing NDIS, TAC and NIISQ provider, who are dedicated and passionate about empowering individuals through our commitment to empower individuals by offering personalised support and comprehensive services to enhance our participants quality of life.
We are currently looking for a team of dedicated support workers who are experienced, warm, empathetic, respectful and compassionate to work alongside our participant in a new SDA accommodation.
As one of our support workers you will be the heart of our mission, you will be working with the participant to enhance their quality of life.
In the SDA you will provide personalised care which includes showering, incontinence management, manual handling as well as medication management, ensuring that everyone feels supported and valued.
This is a 24-hour SDA accommodation flexibility and availability is a must to ensure that the participant is supported.
Essential Criteria
• Prior experience working in disability support services or a SDA accomdation
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Current Paid employee Blue Card
• Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance
• Current First Aid & CPR
• NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to work as a team with minimal supervision
• Smart phone with internet access
• Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor
