Real Community Services has a fantastic new SIL house opening in the BANYA region and we are currently seeking skilled Support workers to join our team.
We are looking for support workers who are reliable, warm, respectful and dedicated, who are passionate about building a strong relationship with our participants.
You will be working directly with the participant to undertake personal, community and daily living activities. These activities will be designed to assist the participant in building their individual and community base to improve their daily life and build capacity.
Essential Criteria
• Prior experience working in disability support services or a SIL house
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Current Paid employee Blue Card
• Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance
• Current First Aid & CPR
• NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to work as a team with minimal supervision
• Smart phone with internet access
• Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor
