ABOUT US:
Join our growing team to continue with our mission to provide support and add value to individuals lives which has been embedded since the 1950’s. We are seeking a Passionate and Proactive NDIS Employment Coach to support young people with disability with their transition from school to employment.

• Experienced: Understanding NDIS guidelines and how to support complex behaviours within the disability sector
• Strategic & Creative: in establishing how to improve services to positively contribute to our participants lives and adapt to any circumstances
• Effective Communicator: Excellent in written, verbal and team communication
ABOUT THE ROLE:
• Working with young people to aid them achieve their employment goals

• Mentor, guide, support and empower young people with a disability to achieve their NDIS Goals.
• Work with families, stakeholders and the wider community to create new opportunities for our participants.
KEY RESPONSIBITIES:
• Provide support and mentoring to participants that encourage a level of competence and independence with their employment and training goals.
• Coordinate WH&S policies and practices to ensure equitable and inclusive practices
• Generate and optimise appropriate work experience opportunities for participants
• Provide on-site and external support during work experiences to increase understanding of workplace expectations and behaviours
• Support participants with tailored employment planning, skill development, and community engagement
• Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of our program to meet goals and outcomes
• Effectively manage risk and compliance and documentation and implementation
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Experience in DES or employment consulting (bonus: business & admin)
• Confident in training delivery and following program plans
• Passion for educating and building employment readiness in participants
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Experience supporting challenging behaviours and applying Behaviour Support Plans
• Comfortable working with young people and adapting to their needs
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Certificate IV in Disability and or Equivalent qualifications
• Valid NSW Working with Children’s Check
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current FULL NSW Driver’s License
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
