Description

Go far with IOR

IOR might be the greatest Aussie success story you haven’t heard of… yet.

From humble roots in Eromanga, QLD, we’ve been fuelling the furthest corners of Australia for over 40 years. But we think the most exciting journey’s still on the horizon.

We’re after a reliable Fuel Tanker Driver to help keep our nation running, knowing every kilometre you do with us contributes to great community partnerships like LifeFlight. You’ll be backed by an honest, down-to-earth team you can rely on, and given the trust you need to have a crack and grow your career with a company that’s going further.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our Infrastructure team, based in Greater Sydney and servicing surrounding areas. In this pivotal field based role, you’ll help ensure IOR assets, facilities, and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

• Provide high quality field-based support, service, and maintenance across local sites.

• Ensure all IOR assets and facilities meet specifications and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Conduct regular audits on sites and asset conditions and provide feedback on planned maintenance.

• Perform installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of fuel tanks and other IOR equipment, including IOR Aviation fuel assets.

• Uphold all IOR and regulatory safety standards, including incident and hazard reporting and proactive identification of potential risks.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll also need:

• A trade qualification in electrical, or a technical background with experience in mechanical, hydraulics, or fitting.

• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.

• A demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and company policies.

• Tickets such as forklift, confined space, and working at heights (or willingness to obtain).

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage priorities and problem-solve effectively.

Why join IOR?

We’re about so much more than fuel. We’re about three key things:

Right Team: It’s the kind of place where you walk in the door and instantly know you belong

Right Track: We’re going somewhere, and as we get bigger, so do the opportunities to get stuck in and challenge yourself

Right Now: There’s no dragging feet or endless committees here. We deliver for Australia every single day

You’ll also be rewarded with a range of benefits, including:

● Flexible rosters to fit around your life and family

● Hourly rate + overnight allowance, weekend loading, training allowance and rotating shift allowance

● Paid training and development to grow your skills and career

● Modern, well-maintained fleet and equipment so that you can focus on the job at hand

● Staff and family discounts on fuel (obviously!)

● Work hard, play hard with our Blue Squad social club – trivia nights, barbecues and plenty of laughs!

● Plus salary sacrificing options, retail and health care discounts, Employee Assistance Program, and much more
