The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Rostering Coordinator to ensure effective management and coordination of rosters for a group of clients and their support workers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be the single point of contact for clients and carers in relation to roster management;
  • Coordinate development of Client rosters and ensure ongoing coverage;
  • Participate in recruitment of Personal Support Workers
  • Review rosters, validate hours worked and ensure the roster is compliant with SCHADS
  • Comply with departmental policies and procedures, recommend improvements where applicable;
  • Liaise with agencies to coordinate brokered care;
  • Ensure adequate training days are rostered for carers;
  • Participate in agreed after hours handover processes;
  • In consultation with the Work Health and Safety Business Partner, ensure appropriate return to work schedules

About You

You will be offered the right support to excel in this role, but we would love to see that you have:

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience rostering in Disability services
  • Experience using rostering software – CareLink a bonus.
  • High level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level problem solving skills including conflict resolution
  • Ability to work with people who come from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge and experience working with NDIS clients
  • Working knowledge of SCHADS Award and applicable conditions/requirements
  • Flexibility to work after hours if required.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
