Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist ready to step into a clinical project leadership role without a traditional full-time caseload?
We’re hiring a Team Lead, Clinical Excellence to drive clinical quality, clinician performance, and client outcomes across a growing allied health organisation.
This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives on systems, frameworks, and continuous improvement and wants to influence how high-quality allied health services are delivered at scale.
You’ll work directly with the Chief Clinical Officer to lead clinical governance, audits, standards, clinician development, and service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Governance & Quality Improvement
- Develop and maintain clinical standards, SOPs, and clinical handbooks
- Lead clinical audits, compliance checks, and quality assurance processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery
- Ensure consistency in clinical documentation, reporting, and client experience
Clinician Performance & Development
- Manage clinician performance frameworks and reporting cycles
- Support professional development (PD), capability building, and internal training
- Coordinate clinician contributions to internal programs and initiatives
- Use data and reporting tools to track and report performance and outcomes
Client Experience & Systems
- Improve end-to-end client journey and service delivery experience
- Oversee clinical documentation systems (reports, templates, handouts)
- Partner with leadership to implement scalable best-practice systems
Clinical Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruitment of high-quality clinicians aligned with organisational standards
- Improve onboarding and offboarding processes
- Work with leadership and HR on workforce planning
About You
- AHPRA/SPA registered Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist
- 3+ years clinical experience (leadership or senior clinician experience highly regarded)
- Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and systems are highly regarded
- High attention to detail with a commitment to clinical excellence
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable working with data, KPIs, and performance metrics
