About the Role:

Interested in Hydraulics and keen to work for a fast-growing organisation that cares about its team members? We are currently seeking experienced Hose Technicians or Hydraulics Technicians to deliver accurate and high technical quality service work to our valued customers throughout Western Australia.

This position is an opportunity to work 8 days on, 6 days off roster with work available in Newman, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie.

Interviews are available ASAP to join our team in FIFO and residential positions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical service and troubleshooting/breakdown support
  • Repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer and mine sites as required
  • Conduct tests of mechanical systems on site
  • Manufacture hose assemblies
  • Maintain hose rooms at sites in a safe and tidy state
  • Identify sales opportunities through product cross selling and optimisation
  • Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieve

Skills and Experience

  • Unrestricted Australian work rights and must hold a valid visa
  • Current driver’s licence, preferably MR
  • Broad understanding of hydraulic systems and principles
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
  • Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications or at least 3 years or experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Logical problem-solving skills
