About the Role

We are seeking a Project Administration Assistant to join our team in Townsville or Darwin on a part-time basis, with the potential for the role to grow into a full-time position in the future.

The role is expected to be approximately 30 hours per week, ideally spread across five days, however exact working hours can be discussed with the successful candidate.

Reporting to the Project Contracts Compliance Manager, this role provides administrative support to project managers and project teams, assisting with project documentation, compliance, financial administration, and general office support.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems and documentation and wants to contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project setup and administration within project management systems (including Procore)
  • Support project teams with documentation, registers and compliance requirements
  • Assist with preparation of documentation for progress claims and subcontractor payment processes
  • Monitor subcontractor documentation and compliance requirements, including insurances
  • Maintain company templates, documentation and Australian Standards registers
  • Process credit card reconciliations and assist with financial administration tasks
  • Coordinate travel bookings and provide general administrative support to project teams
  • Provide general office administration and assist with ad-hoc duties as required

About You

  • Previous administration experience (construction or project environments highly regarded)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with systems and documentation
  • A proactive approach and willingness to support multiple teams
  • Candidates must hold valid Australian working rights
