Our community is warm, connected, and committed, and we’re looking for an Assistant Director who will support the Centre Director in driving quality education and care with authenticity and drive.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Director to support our Morphett Vale team.
This hands on leadership role involves being present with educators, supporting the
Centre Director, building strong relationships with families, and helping create a culture where quality education and care is the foundation of everything we do.
You will assist in guiding your team with clarity, compassion, and direction, mentoring emerging leaders, building capability, and ensuring the centre continues to flourish.
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced professional who brings both knowledge and heart to your leadership.
You have:
A current Working with Children Check (mandatory)
Completion of federally mandated National Child Safe Training
A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
A genuine hands-on leadership style you lead by example, stay present, and support your team on the floor
Strong capability in mentoring, developing, and inspiring your educators
A thorough understanding of the NQS, EYLF, and the Assessment & Rating process
A confident communicator who builds trust with children, families, and staff
Strong organisational and administrative skills
A passion for elevating quality practices and creating exceptional learning environments
A commitment to driving a positive workplace culture built on growth, collaboration, and accountability
Most importantly, you’re a people leader, you know how to connect, influence, guide, and
empower others to do their best work
