Description

We’re looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content that performs. Based from our Sydney office and working with our wider Marketing team, you’ll be creating high-quality video content daily for our brand across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn – delivering sharp, engaging videos that drive real results.

This is a fast-paced, creative role where you’ll need both technical editing chops and strong storytelling instincts. If you can spot the gold in long-form content and craft it into compelling short-form videos without needing your hand held, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do

Edit and Deliver

  • Transform raw footage into polished, ready-to-publish videos with tight pacing, strong hooks, and platform-optimised outputs

  • Edit daily content across multiple formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for different platforms

  • Handle colour grading, audio mixing, captions, motion graphics, and sound design to professional standards

  • Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, interviews, workshops) into high-performing short clips

Create for Impact

  • Craft attention-grabbing hooks and opening sequences that capture viewers in the first 3 seconds

  • Build complete micro-narratives under a minute with clear story arcs (hook, build, climax, resolution)

  • Adapt content for different platforms and audiences, tailoring pacing, tone, and layout

  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all edits

Edit for Performance

  • Create content designed to maximise watch time, engagement, and conversions

  • Review performance data and analytics to continuously improve your edits

  • Stay current with social media trends, editing styles, and viral formats

  • Recommend new creative approaches that align with brand goals and lift results

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years editing social media content with a strong portfolio demonstrating your editing skills and creative ability

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent professional editing tools)

  • You can review long-form recordings, spot the best moments, and turn them into engaging short-form content without step-by-step direction

  • Skilled in adding captions, motion graphics, and sound design that enhance storytelling

  • Strong eye for pacing, composition, visual detail, and picking attention-grabbing shots

  • Ability to edit for speed, clarity, and engagement while maintaining brand tone and consistency

  • Experience optimising content for different aspect ratios and platform requirements

  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute with minimal direction

  • Highly organised with excellent time management – proven ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining close communication with the wider Marketing team

  • Working knowledge of file management systems such as Google Drive

  • You bring energy, initiative, and creativity to every edit, keeping the process fast and fun
