Job Summary

We are searching for a Product Marketing Manager to drive the product marketing for our AI-based Core Analysis Platform and a range of new products in development. The Datarock Core platform leverages cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning technologies to provide unparalleled imagery analysis solutions for the mining industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies, including positioning, messaging, product launches, and customer lifecycle campaigns. This role will work closely with digital marketing, the product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging that resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Product Marketing Strategy: Gain an in-depth understanding of our target audience and develop the product’s positioning and messaging, clearly communicating the product’s benefits across various channels.
  • Positioning & Messaging: Own the product’s positioning and messaging, crafting compelling copy and content for emails, web, and other marketing channels.
  • Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches from strategy to messaging, channel selection, and performance measurement, collaborating with product, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Campaign Management: Serve as the central point for managing integrated campaigns, working with growth and content teams to align on strategy and execution. Share the responsibility of campaign management across teams.
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Create targeted content and messaging for email drip campaigns designed to nurture customers throughout their lifecycle.
  • Content Strategy: Partner closely with the content team to align product marketing with content marketing efforts and create content where needed.
  • Partnerships: Work with ecosystem partners to drive co-marketing initiatives, collaborating with key players in the industry to amplify our product’s reach.
  • Customer Marketing: Develop customer-centric content that highlights their success and integrates their experiences into our marketing materials to support sales efforts.
  • Modern Tooling: Leverage modern tools, AI, and workflows to enhance product, ecosystem, campaign, and content marketing efforts, including creating demos, videos, and other marketing resources.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Marketing Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on product marketing.
  • Industry or Business Model Experience: Experience in the mining industry or familiarity with B2B Saas products
  • Strategy & Execution: Demonstrated ability to set marketing strategy and execute effectively, balancing high-level vision with detailed operational tasks such as planning product launches and conducting competitive research.
  • Product Marketing Depth: Expertise in positioning, messaging, product launch management, and ecosystem marketing.
  • Marketing Breadth: A comprehensive understanding of campaign management, channel strategy, content creation, and communications.
  • Writing Ability: Proven track record of writing both short-form and long-form content, with examples available to showcase your work.
  • Interest in Our Mission: Proven ability to learn technical products and features and translate them into an understandable value proposition for the customer
  • Goal Setting & Prioritisation: A strategic thinker who excels at setting short- and long-term goals, prioritising based on impact.
