The opportunity
As Business Insights
Analyst, you will be the central point of accountability for business
insights and analytics across Daiichi Sankyo Australia. Reporting to the New
Product Planning & Strategy Lead, you’ll support brand and business decision‑making
by turning data into insights that are clear, relevant and actionable.
This is a hands‑on role
with real ownership. You’ll work across market, customer and internal data
sources, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, and support planning and
performance measurement across the business. You’ll also play a key role in
ensuring our customer engagement systems are fit for purpose and used
confidently by teams.
The role suits someone who
enjoys working close to the business, asking the right questions of data, and
helping others make better decisions.
Your day to day
- Analyse internal and external data to identify trends, patterns and insights that
support brand and market decisions
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that track performance and
answer real business questions
- Present insights in a clear, practical way for non‑technical audiences
- Track and assess the effectiveness of marketing and customer engagement initiatives
- Support brand and portfolio planning with insights on market trends, competitors and
opportunities
- Contribute data and analysis to key account planning and customer strategy
- Own the day‑to‑day management of our customer engagement system. Veeva Vault CRM),
ensuring its user‑centred, reliable and fit for purpose
- Support teams to confidently use data, dashboards and tools in their day‑to‑day work.
About You:
This role will suit you if you enjoy turning
data into insight and working closely with the business.
- You have a degree in Business, Analytics,
Marketing or a related field
- You bring experience in data analytics within healthcare,
pharmaceuticals or a related industry
- You are comfortable working with analytics
tools, dashboards and CRM systems
- You can interpret complex data and explain what it means in a way that
supports decision‑making
- You have sound commercial judgement and can connect data to business
outcomes
- You are organised and able to manage analytics workstreams or projects
end‑to‑end
- You communicate clearly and are comfortable working with different
teams and senior stakeholders
- You are adaptable and able to build practical solutions where
processes or tools are still evolving
