Key Deliverables

Project Management & Site Execution

Lead on-site civil engineering, ensuring compliance with design, contracts, and local conditions. Manage earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and structural civil works to drive efficiency and quality. Optimize material selection and construction methods for durability and sustainability. Monitor progress, resolve challenges, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

Ensure quality, safety, and environmental compliance throughout execution. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to maintain site safety and structural stability. Promote a safety-first culture with proactive risk prevention.

Stakeholder & Contractor Coordination

Align civil works with project goals, collaborating with managers, architects, subcontractors, and government bodies. Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards. Provide technical leadership, guiding teams and solving engineering challenges.

Budget & Cost Control

Manage civil work budgets, optimizing cost efficiency while maintaining quality. Streamline procurement and contractor agreements to enhance financial performance. Deliver accurate financial reports to support senior management decision-making.

Continuous Improvement & Team Leadership

Mentor junior engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing. Drive innovation and best practices to enhance efficiency and sustainability in civil engineering processes. Champion emerging technologies to optimize construction methodologies.

Key Requirements

Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Chartered status highly regarded).

Experience: 10+ years in civil engineering, specializing in earthworks, roadworks, drainage, utilities, and structural works. 5 years Australian construction experience.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, BIM, and civil engineering management software.

Certifications (Preferred): PMP certification is a strong advantage.
