Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Operations team. As a Team Leader, you will lead a work cell within our operations environment, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to plan.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day activities, supporting your team on the floor and ensuring operational targets relating to safety, quality, productivity and delivery are achieved. This is a hands‑on leadership role, working alongside your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and provide consistent, reliable leadership on the floor
- Coordinate daily workflow and labour allocation within your work cell
- Facilitate daily pre‑starts and toolbox talks, setting clear expectations for the day
- Identify and address issues early, including having respectful, timely conversations when things aren’t going to plan
- Monitor performance and take action on issues impacting safety, quality, flow or output
- Ensure safe work instructions, procedures and standards are followed
- Actively support LEAN manufacturing practices, including reducing waste, improving flow and simplifying processes
- Encourage practical problem‑solving and continuous improvement from the team
- Coach and develop team members, supporting learning and skill growth
- Build a positive team environment where people feel engaged, supported and motivated
- Promote Baywood’s values through your everyday actions and decisions
About You
You will be someone who:
- Is reliable, consistent and follows through on commitments

Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in manufacturing, production or a similar environment is essential. Exposure to LEAN or continuous improvement practices and a high risk licence (LF) is highly regarded.
