The Opportunity
As a Consulting Engineer within our Services team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality infrastructure and end-user computing solutions to a diverse customer base.
This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role where you will scope, design, implement and optimise modern infrastructure solutions — ensuring outcomes are practical, scalable and aligned to customer goals. You will act as a trusted escalation point, mentor peers through knowledge sharing, and contribute to continuous improvement across projects and service delivery.

What You’ll Be Working On
- Delivering professional services engagements across infrastructure, cloud and security solutions
- Leading technical discovery, solution validation and implementation
- Acting as an escalation point for complex technical challenges
- Contributing to pre-sales workshops and technical presentations
- Designing and refining technical solutions in collaboration with internal engineering teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and customer environments
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards
- Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audit requirements
- You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Account Executives and Service Delivery teams — because at ASI, we Win Together.

Essential Experience & Capabilities
- Demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure and end-user computing solutions in a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong technical expertise across Windows Server, networking, and cloud environments
- Ability to scope, design and implement secure, scalable solutions
- Experience acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
- Australian working rights
Highly Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Modern Desktop environments
- Microsoft 365 administration and security configuration experience
- Exposure to Azure environments
- Relevant Microsoft or infrastructure certifications
- Experience supporting education or government customers
