What you’ll be working on
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in shaping how automation supports the business. You’ll work across core systems to remove friction, improve efficiency, and enable teams to focus on high-value work.
You’ll be:
- Designing and building automated workflows that reduce manual effort and improve service delivery
- Developing scripts and integrations across platforms such as Microsoft 365, PSA/RMM tools, and internal systems
- Creating and maintaining API integrations to ensure seamless data flow between systems
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities for smarter, more efficient ways of working
- Building dashboards and reports that provide meaningful operational insights
- Maintaining clear, reliable documentation and contributing to a well-governed automation environment
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and seeing the tangible impact of their work across a business.

- Hands-on experience building integrations using APIs (REST, JSON, webhooks)
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solution
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive approach — you look for opportunities to improve, not just maintain
- A collaborative mindset, aligned to owning outcomes, getting things done, winning together, and thinking boldly
Essential criteria
- Experience in an Automation Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role focused on process improvement
- Strong scripting capability (PowerShell highly regarded)
- Experience integrating systems using APIs and structured data
- Ability to document solutions clearly and maintain version control practices
